Some of the worldwide famous wine producers are Berlucchi, Bellavista and Ca’ del Bosco. Your private friendly chauffeur today will drive you along the beautiful Franciacorta wine roads. The first stop will be at Ca’ del Bosco vinery - one of the best wineries in the region, where you will be greeted warmly for an engaging tour of the estate and a terrific tasting of the wineries' current releases. You will then enjoy a delicious lunch based on the local, tasty cuisine at Relais Franciacorta. In the afternoon you will visit a distillery producer of “grappa”.
You will be taught the distilling process and try their “grappa”. On this tour you will also be able to purchase wine and grappa at the places you will visit. With 2 more hours added to your tour you could visit the hilltop town of Bergamo (Bergamo Alta). The city boasts fantastic skyline of towers, church and cupolas silhouetted against the background of the Alps. Visit the heart of the old town to admire historical palaces and beautiful churches including the Basilica of St. Maria Maggiore and beautiful Colleoni Chapel with its stunning façade decorated with red and white marble, an authentic Italian Renaissance masterpiece.
