A deep and unforgettable experience discovering the natural beauty along the Amalfi’s finest beaches, rock arches, sea caves and old watchtowers that dot the entire length of this coast. Accessible even for those who have never been in a kayak, there will be a short introductory lesson on how to kayak and health & safety.
Stops at beaches reachable only by sea are planned in the journey with plenty of time to go snorkeling or swimming in crystal-clear waters. Once passed Duoglio & Santa Croce beaches, we will admire and kayak under the "Arc of Lovers". This natural rock arch created millions of years ago by the erosion of the sea looks like two kissing elephants, and nowadays young couples use to get married on the top of it. Passing near Sophia Loren villa, we will paddle in front of the ancient fishing village Conca Dei Marini and enter in its western basin to visit the little Ruonchetiello Grotto.
Finally, we will reach the stunning Furore Fjord and land for a short visit by foot into the lovely and quiet sandy beach. Locally called Neverland, is a small village with its settlement on the edges of the mountain and famous for the annual international diving competition “Mar Meeting" that takes place in July: here professional divers compete by jumping from the top of the 28-meter bridge. The return trip to Amalfi will give us a different but equally remarkable view of both sea and land.
